Lymphoedema Service
The Myton Hospices provide
specialist palliative care to patients with life limiting illness and are the only
hospice providing in-patient care within Warwickshire and Coventry.
The Lymphoedema Service
is based at the Myton Hospice in Warwick.
The opportunity has arisen to recruit two professionals to our well established
Lymphoedema Service. The service provides support and care for patients in the inpatient
unit, day hospice and outpatients. Palliative care experience is desirable but not
essential as training can be given.
You will also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively
with colleagues and deal sensitively with patients with complex needs.
The successful applicant will be a 1st Level Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional
with a recognised qualification and appropriate experience.
Knowledge of current best practice in lymphoedema management is essential,
together with a teaching qualification.
37.5 hours per week (negotiable) Salary
: £28,345-£38,873 per annum
Lymphoedema Practitioner
The post holder will be
a Registered Nurse or Allied Health professional with a recognised manual lymphatic
drainage qualification. You
will complement and support the work of the Lymphoedema Specialist Practitioner,
carrying out prescribed treatments autonomously.
25 hours per week (negotiable)
Salary : £23,458–£31,779 per annum pro rata
A Criminal Records Bureau
