Continuing Professional Development Workshops 2004/5

The CSP is running a new series of one-day workshops on "Continuing Professional Development (CPD) - Impact & Outcomes" in the UK throughout 2004 and early 2005. The workshops enable participants to integrate CPD into day to day practice and to articulate the impact of CPD on practice.  The outcomes of the workshop are to:

-      Understand and demonstrate links between CPD and clinical effectiveness/evidence-based practice

-      Identify resources to support and plan learning

-      Articulate outcomes of learning for the individual, for the service and for patients

-      Produce evidence to demonstrate learning

-      Identify resources to corroborate evidence

-      Demonstrate application of learning to practice

The workshops are designed for both qualified and assistant members and each workshop can accommodate up to 30 participants.  Participants are expected to have a good understanding of the CPD process and the principles and techniques of reflective practice and portfolio keeping prior to attending, as these will not be focused on in detail during the day. If you are interested in attending one of the remaining workshops, please tick the location you wish to attend and complete the details section below.  In case workshop places are fully booked, you may wish to specify a 2nd choice. In this case, please mark clearly what your 1st and 2nd choices are.
