Cross-Cultural Practice with Individuals and Families - Working with Illness, Disability and Loss
 1 April 2011,
St Christopher's Hospice,
London

Course fee: £35.

This master class will offer 'live' supervision as a platform for exploring issues of cross-cultural practice when working with families in the context of illness, disability and loss. In dialogue between two senior practitioners in this field and the course participants, using real case examples, we will be exploring the dilemmas, conflicts and practice difficulties encountered when working with families whose outlook is based on a cultural heritage different from our own.

This is an invitation to engage in conversation with us how we might strive for good cross-cultural care, what in fact we mean by this and why indeed this can be quite so challenging.
